For Baccarat, Jaime Hayon reinvents the way one collects animal figurines and endows them with a genuine box function. Each figurine tells a humorous and imaginative tale. Following on his irresistible bestiary, Jaime Hayon has expanded his menagerie. After the facetious monkey, the jolly duck and ravenous bear, the Spanish designer gives us a loveable elephant. Perched on its porcelain base, made by Lladro, the animal reveals its great presence, sculpted body, charming almond-shaped eyes and ears cut with fine bevelled lines. Tamed, trained and sublimated, it is a loyal companion as are his three mates. The Clear crystal cover rests on white porcelain with a matte-finish exterior and a gold-finish interior.
